It’s 2023! This year, let’s reach for new heights and dreams, we can do it.
We started off this year with a family session, one with doggies and honestly, our favourite type of shoot. It is the time of year that can be challenging to get the shoot done outdoors. On the one hand, you have rain, on the other, the summer sun, both very challenging. Rain can come at any moment and pool your shoot outdoors forcing a reschedule. The hot summer sun on the other hand, can bring hard light and the heat can be very draining. This shoot was met with the latter.
Despite the draining heat, we absolutely had a blast this session. Our family of the hour are simple gorgeous and made getting the perfect pics so much easier. Their two doggies were determined to do their own thing but still played with when the moment counted. Just look at them pose in their pics lol.
Going forward with our shoots, we will be having a little tag along. Our now 9 month old daughter. Obviously this brings challenges but also helps break the ice. Our little subjects of the day were only too happy to pose for pictures too and in-between pics, were on the hunt for pine cones.
Ultimately, despite the hot conditions, this was a very enjoyable session. We all had good laughs, got great pics and just had so much fun. We certainly hope this is not the last time we see the Sivpersad family. We wish them the best year ahead. Thank you for booking us to do your shoot!
