Honour the friendships that allow you to pick up from where you last left off, regardless of how long it’s been since you connected. To my dear friend Merushen of more than two decades, it’s been such a pleasure to finally meet your beautiful family and for us to photograph this special event of you both, becoming parents again to your newest family member and little boy.
We are so excited and happy for you both as you embark on this new adventure. Having a child is truly an adventure and each child is a different adventure altogether. We missed the birth of their firstborn Maeson due to bad timing, who is now four years old now, but decided to do their maternity shoot a bit earlier this time round. Samone managed to rent the most beautiful green dress from The Bump and Willow maternity dress hire for her shoot and looked amazing on the day. We were sceptical about the actual date of the shoot as we had some severe cold fronts that week but managed to finally squeeze the shoot in that week one afternoon with beautiful golden light at our favourite nature reserve. We had so much fun getting Maeson involved and posing, he just couldn’t contain his excitement and couldn’t wait for his little brother to arrive. As you see from his attire he is also a huge Spiderman fan which I am sure he will be sharing with his younger sibling soon.
To a lovely couple and special family congrats on your beautiful little boy and newest family member. May he give you so much joy and happiness and complete your family.
